What Vector Pro Provides

How It Works (The Short Version)

When you create a site through Vector Pro:

  1. A development environment is provisioned — This is where your customer does their WordPress work: installing plugins, customizing themes, creating content. They access WP Admin here and can upload files via SFTP.
  2. Environments are created but dormant — Each site comes with staging and production environments. These don't consume resources until something is deployed to them.
  3. Deploys push to serverless infrastructure — When ready, a deploy takes the current state of development and pushes it to the target environment. The deployed environment runs on serverless infrastructure that scales automatically.
  4. Production gets the full treatment — Production environments include CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, and SSL. Non-production environments run without CDN for cost efficiency.

This architecture means your customers get the familiar WordPress experience during development, with the reliability and scalability of serverless infrastructure in production.
